Sitting here thinking about boat trips i had as a lad with my uncle.
One day we were out when i hooked something BIG.
I managed to get it up to the side of the boat and was gobsmacked when i saw what it was.
It was like a massive gurnurd. A big massive gob and head and not much else.
My uncle took one look and just cut the line.
Bearing in mind this was over 30 years ago and all species are over fished now.
Looking at the fishing programmes on tv now i believe it was an Angler fish.
The one which waggles something by its mouth. And by all accounts these angler fish are good to eat?.
