  • Help wanted!!! - Fishing in Brittany / Bretagne

    Hej
I'm going to Brittany next week ...and I'm looking for info on Sea-fishing for that area, especially for info on good ports where I can find charter-boats.

All your help would be appreciated

    Thanks in advance
    cheers / Bengt

      Hej
Fishing-hols??? well, I will at least do my best to beat my last fishingtrip to france ...which was just a few sardins in the bay of biscay

I'm hoping to be back in GB another year - a year when the sun shines a lot more!!! I hope you all are ok in Geordie-land.

      cheers / Bengt
ps: I can't find anything in english about seafishing in Brittany. I will probably have to work it all out when I've arrived there, no worries ...

        Hej
Ok, I went there and I brought a lot of fishinggear ...all fishy I got was smoked salmon! I couldn't find a boat for individuals, and the boats (2) were booked for weeks. It's also a shame that you are denied access to all ports and useful piers.
Well, at least I had a good time and nice weather for one week. One good thing was the Oceanopolis in Brest with a lot of aquariums from all climate zones (tropical + temperate + arctic), unfortunately 98% of the info there was in frog-lingo.

        cheers / Bengt
