The skipper says we\'ll probably head North from Sunderland and probably fish the Tyne upover. We\'re gonna try a few wrecks in that area and maybe close in off St. Mary\'s. I may only be out Saturday & Sunday though as her indoors has told me not to make plans for Friday and Monday.
Is everyone using pirks and stuff now or are you still bait fishing?
Anything from the north east is a problem but 5mph on a flat sea should be ok just the odd lump.Going down the coast later for a look along at the local marks see if anyone is catching.
Yeah Dave, westerly wind all night flattenned sea off, almost got out today but after pottering with GPS a while then Bob came over and forcibly twisted my arm to go have a pint and sarnie in the zetland, time just slipped away. Still , it`s looking good for tomorrow I`ll be there at 8am (ish)
By the way, i`ve watched in anticipation all week at the forcasts, even as I read the last one before leaving today it still said NE wind and Rai,Rain,Rain. ....... *ollocks, not a drop and the NE wind was a west that has now dropped off completely (4.00pm)
I`ve heard from a good source that theres a double figure cod with IanW stamped across it`s head .......... still it`ll be there next week ......... unless we get it tomorrow
