Fine by me as well TC. Just shows that those that know the sea can also be taken. That great big green monster when angry has no respect for anyone or for what they do to help others. Maybe it is her way of warning those that know her less that i can take you even easier. Deepest sympathies to all their families

Thanks Clare.
I\'ve spoken to Marc about using the money that was already in the NESA account (prior to the Cullercoats comp money) and the possibilities of keeping a separate log for the money to be donated to the Barmouth Appeal.
If anybody wants to make a donation to the Appeal, please let me know and I\'ll e-mail you the details of where to send your cheques to.
Those of you who have already booked your places for the comp on 31st May, will already have those details.
I don\'t want this to drag on, as in these circumstances, I think it\'s best to raise as much as we can, as quickly as possible and get the donation sent off ASAP. Because of that, I\'m asking for any donations you want to make to recieved by Marc BEFORE Saturday 24th April (giving 2 weeks).
Anybody wishing to donate to the Barmouth Appeal after that date, can do so as a personal donation and send it direct to the Appeal.

I\'ve just been on the RNLI site, trying to find the website of the Barmouth Station so I could get in touch with them - they don\'t have one
Best thing I could do was to complete their standard enquiry form and address it to the WALES area.
This is what I said.......
BARMOUTH TRAGEDY
Would you please forward this to the Barmouth Station.
It’s always difficult to know just what to say in times of such sadness.
I have enclosed, below, a link to a page on a sea angling website I run: North East Sea Angling (NESA), on which several messages have been posted.
http://www.nesa.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=XForum&file=viewthread &tid=1654
NESA has supported the RNLI through fund raising events over the past 16 months, or so. We are currently organising a big fishing competition to raise money for Cullercoats RNLI Station. We held a similar event last year and raised £2000 for Amble Station.
We have a reserve in the NESA fund raising account, which we are going to donate to the Community Families Fund, set up in the wake of the recent tragedy.
Several NESA members have also expressed a wish to make additional donations and these will be added to the amount in the NESA account reserves.
We all understand that money can never replace lost loved ones, but there is little else we can do to show our appreciation and respect to both the men lost and to their families.
I have the details of where to send our donation and will be doing so in the near future.
Our thoughts are with you and the families of both Keith and Alan.
Tony Cutter.
