    alright lads, im going on the sarah jfk soon as u may hav read in my other thread, i am still yet to book it but will in the coming day or 2,

    what i was wondering is what class boat rod would i need? just a 20 - 30lb one? and also could you lads gimmie a list of recommended jigs/lures/daylights ..

    not 100% sure but i think they will rent you a rod/reel on board i my self use a 20/ 30lb class rod with 60lb braid on reel
    as for lures ect id sugest lead heads with twintails/shads /cheapest pirks you can buy (incase you loose them on snags) and general hockies 3/0 hooks up over
    some good deals on hockies on ebay under sea fishing then lures
    just my advice
    seaham angling supplies has a deal on pirks and lead heads 4 for £5 lots to pick from

      I,m going into the tackle shop on Mainsforth Tce at Hartlepool tomorrow. He,s got loads of stuff for boat anglers shads etc hanging up on the wall. I,m going to get a couple of things in preperation for when we go out on the Maggie May.

      I,m looking for some blue Shads after advice from the guys on the forum.

      Gazza hit the nail on the head with the deals on e-bay for hockeyes. 4 PACKS FOR A FIVER.

        yes ,you will get deals like that when buying them in seaham angling supplies,i got some bumper deals last year..i did buy in bulk though.
