I had a weekend of borrowing a go-pro hero 3 and was not impressed, great pics and videos but supporting files and the battery life has put me off along with the cost of all the extras you need.
May go for the Chinese knock off version for £86 instead.
Also decided a Penn 30 2 speed reel is too big so i need a new xmas list ha................__................................ .............................
