After a couple of successful days at sea, i thought id post a few pictures up, there doesnt seem to be many cod at the minute. we have seen a few Pollock and masses of ling. we havent even been near the wrecks, the ground is alive with them at the minute, and there are some cracking fish among em too! with a few each day over 10lb, we are seeing plenty on the 8-9lb range too.
Mistress regular Steve Hoyle shows a couple of ling just over 10lb, him and his dad took 18 fish between them
Steve Law shows a fish just over 11lb
Dave Gore with a nice looking Pollock
Also Mistress regular Mike Edge shows off a couple of decent Ling he got on two consecutive drifts, one 13ln and the other 14lb 8oz
Melvin Hagis managed one at 12lb 8oz
and regular angler Jack managed one a shade over 10lb too!
