jfk 19lbs and 18lbs cods 3/9/13

after a blowy weekend what a lovely day out today. with some excellent fishing. regular this season callan stevens from whitley bay, had a cracking 16 fish bag with ling to 16lbs and 2 topper cod 19.25lbs and another shortly after at 18lbs.
more ling than cod today but around 50-60 fish a few pollack and a smallish catfish [wolfish]
so dont hang up your boat rods just yet as sept is normally a really good month for ling and cod [as long as you get some decent weather]

aye Richie been working on new boat today, it looks big from below but somehow seems even bigger when your topside. bags of room for all passengers and stacks of room in wheelhouse , when you need to get out of the weather.

Yer it will be your best one yet, i was well impressed with the size and bet it takes some shifting in a rough sea. Really look forward to seeing her at sea and good to see you have kept with the trade mark orange...people can watch the orange dot shooting off into the distance
