  • More doubles for the lads on Mistress - Whitby

we have only been to sea a few times this week, but each time we go we get among the doubles, today was no exception we had 3 possibly 4 double figure fish today, it was a bit of a shabby day but the breeze was holding us against the tide which gave us chance to fish a bit of scrap!
Ben bought his mates along for a days fishing and they were all hire rods, but they fished hard, they landed and lost some great fish today, here s a few pictures

pete shows the First decent cod of the day, maybe just short of double figures

Brian shows off a 13lb 8oz Ling which he thought would take the sweep!

Matt I think was top rod today taking some cracking fish including this cod which was also just short of double figures

    Matt again with a 10lb 8oz Ling

Zak looking well pleased with his first Cod

Pete again with the sweep winner that went 15lb on the scales setting himself a new PB, well done mate

    Cheers

    Rich

Good making it out today never mind the catch report, the wind was savage from the Tyne today so called it off.

        Some nice doubles

I was out Saturday 5am until 11am but got blew out the water, could not make it to the markt hat produced so well 3 days previous but we did land about 11 codling and a pollack closer in ebfore that wind just got silly.
