was going to give it atry in the boat today but was told all week and last night it was going to be bad,after buying bait and gear we gave in and said we would just go of south shields pier, when we arrived the sea was slight to moderate as was like this from 8.00 this morning till 4/5 aclock when we left, struggling on the pier with limited old pier rods beachcasters, many of the geared up lads were catching codling , coaly and whiting looking around the 1l ld 2ld mark, well gutted on the drive home
