Finally a chance of getting out tomorrow afternoon. Been rushed off my feet with graft, so never had a chance to get out for over a month. Been hard going reading all the reports and not been able to get out there. But hopefully if the sea is ok tomorrow then should get a report in with a big haul, with a bit of luck.

Get out and enjoy it mark, I was really tempted tonight but away for the weekend in the morning so thought a better do the honourable thing and sort 'stuff' at home!! That's 2 weeks on the trot not afloat!!!
Had a neighbour asking about the slip at Sunderland tonight on behalf of some mates who have been launching from culler coats, I'm sure he mentioned mark from wide open, I'm assuming that is probably your good self? His name is Geoff at coxhoe, not sure if he is mates with one of the lads that fish with you?

Hi Mark, It's a bugga when work keeps getting in the way. Weather looks better on Saturday rather than Sunday, which might be more breezy.
I was out on Tuesday and there were fish around the can area on lugworm at anchor, but nowt bigger than 3lb. Good luck though if you do manage to get out.P.B. Cod 30lb-11ozs Balcary.
