Went out for the first propper fishing trip on the boat since i got it and what a day it turned out to be..
Launched the boat from seaham mariner at 9am when the gates opened with 2 mates and the kids and headed out just off the pier, after 15 mins and no bites on the feathers we headed out a bit more as we were a few hours past high tide and tryed again, we then fished for 30 mins and only got 3 macky so headed out a bit more and to our delight started pulling the macky in on nearly every dip of the rod then out the blue bang the line went really heavy and i shouted ive got somthing heavy on here, could this be my first decent size cod???, A few mins later the fish started to appear and i could not beleive it 3 cod on the feathers i was over the moon then for the next hour n half all we did was pull cod in 2 and 3 at a time...
