71lb halibut caught at whitby

One of the private boats caught a 71lb halibut yesterday it was weighed at whitby angling supplies and is now a new port rod caught record a belter of fish and it was caught on a 4" sidewinder it took over 40 minuites to land what a fish.

hi sorry cant remember his full name but i could get it if you wanted, we drank in the same bar in Whitby and he took me and my mate out now and again, which gave me the urge and desire to buy my own boat which is now berthed in Hartlepool marina.
