Internet angling TV channel www.onlinefishing.tv has made a free-to-view show about the launch of Angling Trust, the sport’s new umbrella governing body.
Filmed in grand surroundings in Fishmongers Hall, London, the programme presented by current international match angler, Gareth Purnell, includes interviews with luminaries like parliamentary spokesman for angling Martin Salter, international events manager Dick Clegg and five times world champion Alan Scotthorne, about why success for the Angling Trust is so crucial.
Paul Knight of the Salmon and Trout Association is also put on the spot, when asked why his organisation is the only major angling body to opt out of the Angling Trust.
Also featuring Keith Arthur and Angling Trust chairman Mark Lloyd, the 10-minute show is available on www.onlinefishing.tv/channel, just click the ‘Free To View’ button.
www.onlinefishing.tv already has around 60 shows to view, around half of which are completely new and exclusive to the channel. Trailers for all of the programmes are free to view online. To have unlimited membership access costs £29.70 for six months; this works out at less than £5.00 per month and is only slightly higher than the typical subscription cost for any one angling magazine.
