Lowrance and Suzuki GB’s Marine Division have announced a new retail campaign for the first quarter of 2012. The two groups have joined forces to offer a free Lowrance HDS-5 Gen 2 fishfinder/chartplotter worth £700 free with every Suzuki outboard motor in the 40-140hp range.
This mid-range section of the Suzuki outboard line-up, which spans from 2.5hp to 300hp, is an important market sector as it includes models that are ideal for entry level and family boaters as well as commercial applications. The models included in this particular promotion are the DF40, DF50, DF60, DF70, DF80, DF90, DF100, DF115 and DF140. These outboards are all lightweight and all benefit from Electronic Fuel Injection, giving them excellent power-to-weight ratios and class-leading fuel efficiency.
The exciting new HDS-5 Gen2 fishfinder/chartplotter from Lowrance features a five-inch screen, best-in-class processing speed and StructureMap™ view, a powerful, innovative tool that allows users to overlay StructureScan® sonar images on a chart in real-time or to save images and review at leisure.
The HDS Gen2 provides the many award-winning benefits of the popular HDS fishfinder/chartplotter series, with double the memory and twice the processor speed delivering enhanced responsiveness, faster start-up, quick menu operation and lightning-fast chart panning and zooming speeds.
Owners of compatible Suzuki outboards will also appreciate the capability of Lowrance HDS Gen2 units to show engine management information via NMEA 2000 connectivity.
